Our network

A strong partnership with farmer groups, women self-help groups, local non-profits and government bodies.

Our produce

We currently have a network of 10,000 farmers across Maharashtra. We ensure the best market rates for our farmers and they reserve the best grains for us!

Protecting local biodiversity

Happy Roots in association with local non-profits and farmer groups is working on a CEE (Centre for environment education) project in Ahmednagar district. Under this project we are trying to establish market for endangered Indian grains which are on the verge of getting extinct. The mission is to revive these crops and bring them back to the urban consumer basket.

Our first successful initiative has been around reviving Battu (Buckwheat) and Kalbhat (Black husk rice) which grows in the rain shadow areas of Shayadri Hills.
